Disturbing demons

Disturbing demons
Ephesians 6:12 (Phillips)
For our fight is not against any physical enemy: it is against organisations and powers that are spiritual. We are up against the unseen power that controls this dark world, and spiritual agents from the very headquarters of evil.
TPT Your hand-to-hand combat is not with human beings, but with the highest principalities and authorities operating in rebellion under the heavenly realms. For they are a powerful class of demon-gods and evil spirits that hold this dark world in bondage.
2Corinthians 10:4 (Phillips)
The truth is that, although of course we lead normal human lives, the battle we are fighting is on the spiritual level. The very weapons we use are not those of human warfare but powerful in God’s warfare for the destruction of the enemy’s strongholds. Our battle is to bring down every deceptive fantasy and every imposing defence that men erect against the true knowledge of God. We even fight to capture every thought until it acknowledges the authority of Christ.
TPT For although we live in the natural realm, we don’t wage a military campaign employing human weapons, using manipulation to achieve our aims. Instead, our spiritual weapons are energized with divine power to effectively dismantle the defenses behind which people hide.

Again a few verses to reflect on this morning. As believers in Christ we are automatically enlisted in God's victorious army. We are waging warfare against demonic powers of darkness. We need to use our spiritual weapons of prayer and intercession to dispel the darkness and shine the light of Christ in our surroundings. Although frequently the enemy uses people to bother us our battle is not with people however with demons who are opposed to Christianity. We don't fight with our fists however we fight on our knees. Someone said He who kneels before God can stand before man. Also,  when life gets too hard to stand, kneel. We fight spiritual battles in the spiritual realm with spiritual weapons of prayer, intercession and fasting.  There is a spirit of idolatry rampant in the world where we are commanded to bow down to ideologies opposed to God and His word. Very soon, standing up for Christ and His commands will be outlawed.  However we are to follow the laws of Christ first and foremost prior to bowing to the laws of man. In the words of Corrie TenBoom in Nazi Germany, when the laws of the land are contrary to the laws of Christ, we are to follow the laws of Christ. Spiritual laws supersedes natural laws. We enforce spiritual laws and are to act as spiritual law enforcement officers in God's Kingdom.  Our God reigns, blessed be the rock, and may the God of our salvation be exalted. We are to proclaim Christ in our surroundings and enforce spiritual powers to bow to the authority of Christ. Luke 10:19 (Amp) Behold! I have given you authority and power to trample upon serpents and scorpions, and [physical and mental strength and ability] over all the power that the enemy [possesses]; and nothing shall in any way harm you. In closing, remember the above verse in TPT: Now you understand that I have imparted to you my authority to trample over his kingdom. You will trample upon every demon before you and overcome every power Satan possesses. Absolutely nothing will harm you as you walk in this authority. In the words of Joshua Be bold, be strong for the Lord thy God is with thee. Do not be dismayed. Walk in faith and victory. Amen
